3D Pavement Art Illusions by Street Artists Edgar Mueller, Inge Wagner and Gregor Wosik
3D street artists create temporary paintings in public spaces, such as open vistas, sidewalks and pavement. They often create these pavement masterpieces with on-looking passer-bys and time constraints. Many times the weather has to be dealt with as well – rain has been known to ruin many such projects before completion.
3D pavement art involves the use of anamorphosis – which is the use of a vantage point, and creating a realistic image from this spot. If one moves around the space, the whole image appears flat and distorted. Such a process obviously involves an extreme amount of patience – not to mention talent.
