My name is Graham Matthews and I am the main writer for Designpromotivate. For as long as I can recall, I have been creating in some form. I have experimented with many different "physical" art materials, including oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, photography, clay... and much more. Also my favorite thing to do is doodle and design in my sketchbook.
Design has been an interest of mine for many years. I have courses in design as part of my artist training, as well as knowledge of Photoshop and web design.
About 18 months ago, I began a blog called Artpromotivate. Through this blog I have shared what I know about art promotion and creativity. I have also learned so much myself in research for many of the articles. It has also been a pleasure to meet so many talented artists, and aid them in some way through free promotions such as the Artist Spotlight.
I have a keen interest in web design and illustration, and this blog is dedicated to providing tutorials and inspiration in that area - and helping to promote creative people.
